L96 upgrades?

Is there anything out on the market as of right now that will upgrade the UTG L96 Shadow Ops? Alot of people have told me no, along with "The gun shoots hot as it is, why would you want to raise the FPS on it?" I figure, if my FPS was higher, and I got a tighter bore barrel then I could possibly raise the trajectory enough to push the BB a bit farther down range. My reasoning for that is I walked at most 160 ft. from my L96 and had a friend shoot me with it, and at 160 feet, I didn't ...

Inconsistency/Accuracy Issues

I find the largest problem with AEGs to be inconsistency (and therefore accuracy). I am looking to upgrade my echo/vector mp5a4 (400fps) and a&k sr25 (450 fps) with tightbores and new hop ups. On the mp5 I have a threaded silencer so I can put an extra long barrel in, and the sr25's qd silencer gives it room for one too. Is there anything else I could do to make my AEGs more accurate?

Any advice or opinions on this issue and how to solve it are appreciated!

New Intellect 8.4V 1400 MAH Battery for my MP5.

I just got the new Intellect battery from the shop. I did, as I often do, plugged it in and shot off a few shots prior to charging it... all I can say is HOLY *&^%. This thing has almost doubled the firing rate of my MP5. I have not conducted longevity testing yet to see how well it lasts, but the difference in ROF is noticeable, and the mechanics of the gun sound like they are operating like they were meant too. I am going to try it here in the dark on my test target after a full 4.5 hour ...

i am looking for a motor $60 or below. i am not sure what type i need. i have a D-boys BI-3881 SD M4. i am also dropping a 9.6v in it as well. for right now though i just need the motor. i don't mind if it is used. i want one for a high rpm rather than fps. i dont want to put too much stress on my gears. i also will be using a lower spring sometimes. i dont know if that matters or not.

explanation of how the differing parts work together to fire the AEG?

Guys,

While I am not a stupid person I find that I feel pretty overwhelmed when looking at after-market internals. Even though I am not considering actually changing the internals myself, I would like to know where the bits fit together with the overall operation of the AEG.

The spring I understand is the force through which the piston rams the air to push the ball.

The gears I understand actually allow the motor to torque the spring correctly like a reducer so the small gear of ...

In terms of upgrading gears, shimming has always been a task i have hated. Modify as came out with a version 2 gearset that will drop in to a Marui, JG, and ECHO1 gearbox without shimming and fighting the anti reverse latch. Thier modular gearset is somewhat highdollar but it pays for itself in terms of meshing the gears so precisely that i doubt they will ever break. Getting the tappet plate in can be fun but any experienced tech can drop it in with no problems. The other nice thing is that ...
